Opa and Snow!

Opa, Erik's dad, came to visit this weekend and we celebrated an early Christmas together. We had a nice family dinner, the girls opened presents and it even snowed!!

The girls dressed in their snowgear
(at least what we wear down here in the south :))

Anna was determined to catch the snow in her mouth.

Daddy and his girls. This picture was within an hour of the snow falling so nothing was staying on the ground; eventually the grass did get covered.

You have a beautiful family! It looks like your girls really enjoyed the snowfall. I bet they were also super excited about having an early Christmas with their Opa - I know I would have been thrilled to have multiple Christmas' as a child.

Your blog is a wonderful resource for local moms. I wanted to bring an upcoming event to your attention. The Cambria Suites near the RDU airport is hosting a Mommy to Mommy sale on Sunday from 11AM to 4 PM. There will be booths for local moms to sell gently used children's items such as clothing, toys and furniture. It should be a great opportunity for local Moms to sale the items they no longer need in addition to being a great way for other Moms to get items for their children without having to pay retail prices. Please let me know if you would like anymore information - this really should be a great even for Moms in the Raleigh/Cary/Morrisville area.

Regards,
Amanda
