Carving Pumpkins

Opa came to visit this past weekend so we decided to carve pumpkins. The girls thought the insides were icky but they did a good job getting the seeds out.

Then they drew faces on the pumpkins for the adults to cut out. And here they are, ready for Halloween night.

Anna's Birthday Party

Anna's Bday PJ Party

For Anna's 6th birthday party Anna had 6 friends over for a pajama party. The girls came dressed in their pj's with their favorite stuffed animal/doll. The girls had waffles and muffins for dinner, decorated pillows, made bead bracelets and had a great time playing together. (No sleepover this year!)

Happy 6th Birthday Anna

Happy Birthday Day!!

Anna started out her birthday by going to school where they made her a birthday crown to wear and she got to take in a special snack of rice krispy treats. Then daddy picked her up early for lunch at her favorite, Chick-fil-a.

Happy Birthday Day!!

Anna's dinner request was chicken followed by a trip to Brusters where she got a Dino Sundae with birthday cake ice cream! And of course there were presents.

Happy Birthday Day!!

School Spirit

On Friday night Erik took Anna and Maddie to the NRCA vs. Ravenscroft football game. Anna's favorite part was the flag girls at half time; Maddie liked the "boom" whenever a team scored (such girls!). I hope they always want us to go with them to the games :).

Maddie at the Pumpkin Patch

Maddie's preschool class went to Vollmer Farms last week, so Ava and I tagged along. There were chickens and sunflowers, corn mazes and corn to play in, hay rides and giant jumpy pillows.

At One Month...

Untitled

I am eating well.
I weigh 9 lbs 3 oz and catapulted into the 50 percentile.
I am a petite 20.5 inches.
My head is a cute 35.5 centimeters, much smaller than my sisters' at this age but perfectly proportioned to my little body.
I still wear my newborn clothes though not for long.
I am starting to sleep more.
I especially like to curl up on someone's chest.
I make lots of grunting noises while I sleep.
My eyes are still blue and Dr. H thinks they will stay that way.

And this sticker is bigger than my belly!!
