Happy 4th Birthday Maddie!

It has been a great week celebrating Maddie's 4th birthday. Last weekend we had a Jessie Toy Story birthday party. Maddie dressed the part and had a great time playing with her friends.
On Friday we went to Monkey Joe's and the girls had a fabulous time. Then had ice cream cake by Maddie's request on Saturday.
This morning we had french toast and Maddie got her new Robyn doll. The girls had a great time playing with their dolls together.

Strawberries!

The strawberry crop came early this year and Maddie and I headed out to Page Farm to pick with our MOPS smallgroup. Afterward we had a picnic lunch at their cute play area. We then spent the afternoon hulling and making freezer jam, yummy!

Ponte Vedra 2012

We spent another fabulous Easter with family in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The girls had a great time playing on the beach - Anna enjoyed collected sharks' teeth, seagull feathers and sea shells; Maddie enjoyed splashing in the water, especially the tidal pools. Here's some water time with the girl cousins.



We had our annual family easter egg hunt and then made our way over to the club for the "official" egg hunt. I think the girls enjoyed the family one better - better prizes in the eggs and less competition :).

Another Tooth!

We were going on vacation on Thursday and from the backseat Anna called out "my tooth fell out". So she now has 2 teeth missing!

Neighborhood Egg Hunt

This past weekend our neighborhood had their annual egg hunt and brunch. We optimistically walked down to the clubhouse that morning in the rain and sure enough they had the hunt! The rain held off for about 20 minutes, just enough time to put the eggs out and the hunt to take place (all of 2 minutes) and then we walked home in the rain :).

The Tooth

At Anna's last dentist appointment in November they told us she had 2 wiggly teeth (the bottom front) and ever since Anna has been wiggling away. On Friday one of the teeth was so loose that we decided to take a picture with all of her baby teeth since we knew it wouldn't be much longer.



Anna didn't want me to pull the tooth so we wiggled it all weekend. On Sunday we got up went to church and when I asked her to show her wiggly tooth to a friend, my friend said "wow Anna, you lost your tooth!". What?? I turned around to look and sure enough, the tooth was gone! We're not sure where it ended up (I'm guessing in her tummy).



Now on to the next tooth.
